About the Author
Tyrolin Puxty is an Australian author with a love for imagination, storytelling, and all things whimsical. She has written twelve novels across fantasy, sci-fi, and comedy—some of which have become international bestsellers and award-winners, including Broken Dolls, featured on Buzzfeed’s ‘Best Sci-Fi Books of the Year’ list.
Tyrolin has received multiple Australia Day Awards for her work in the arts and runs a performing arts school, Stepping Out Studios Mudgee, where creativity comes to life.
When she’s not writing, she enjoys singing, dancing, and eating far too much chocolate.
About the Illustrator
Lisa A. Kennedy is an artist, veterinarian and children’s book illustrator. Originating from Grafton NSW, Lisa graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science, before relocating to the Mudgee region of NSW.
Lisa describes her art as an ever-present undercurrent in her life.
Although her art practice usually evolves around drawing and depicting native Australian birds and wildlife, becoming a mother to two little girls inspired Lisa to expand her artistic talents to the world of children’s book illustrating.
Lisa works in pen, ink and watercolour to create her delightfully whimsical and charming original illustrations.
